Panasonic DMC-CM1 cameraphone set to launch in the UK on December 1st

Earlier this year, Panasonic launched its premium camera phone which features a 1-inch sensor that’s used in Panasonic’s DMC-FZ1000 flagship bridge camera, offering excellent photographic capabilities.
Recently, the company announced that Panasonic DMC-CM1 smartphone will be available in “limited numbers” in the UK from December 1st, citing high demand as the reason for launch. Initially, it was only planned to launch in Germany and France only, but add UK to the list of countries as well.

The handset features a 4.7-inch display rocking a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, and a quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset clocked at 2.3GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage as well as a microSD card slot which supports up to 128GB.
The handset features an impressive 1-inch 20MP camera with f/2.8 LEICA DC Lens, and is capable of recording 4K videos. Other features include 4G connectivity, a 2,600 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat as its operating system out of the box.
The official press release didn’t reveal the exact pricing details, but it should be around €899 ($1,115 / £710), the price of the handset in Germany and France.

Samsung Galaxy A5 Now Available in China

Not too long ago, Samsung introduced the metal-clad Galaxy A5 and A3 smartphones which comes with a premium finish similar to Galaxy Alpha, and offers a decent set of specifications.
The Korean OEM announced that Samsung Galaxy A5 and A3 will hit select markets in November, and it seems the roll out has started. Samsung Galaxy A5 is now available in China for CNY 2,599 (almost $420).

Samsung Galaxy A5 features a beautiful metal unibody design and measures 139.3 x 69.7 x 6.7 mm. There’s a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card support of up to 64GB.
The handset also features a 13MP camera for photos and videos, 5MP front-facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a 2,300 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed out of the box.


Sony Alpha 7 II Mirrorless Camera Launches In The US Next Month For $1,700

MeegoPad T01 Windows Mini PC Stick Now Available For $100

If you have been waiting for the MeegoPad T01 Windows mini PC stick to be made available worldwide after first being launched in China during October of this year. You will be pleased to learn that the mini PC capable of running Windows 8.1 is now available in the US priced at $100.
The MeegoPad T01 is a small HDMI stick sized mini PC that is equipped with 16GB of storage for $99 or 32GB or for $110, and is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core Bay Trail processor supported by 2GB of RAM.

Other features of the MeegoPad T01 include a microSD card slot allowing storage to be expanded to 64GB if desired together with 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. On one end of the Windows mini PC stick is a HDMI connection and on the other a USB 2.0 port.
The MeegoPad T01 measures 11 x 3.9 x 1 cm in size and weighs 50g and is also equipped with two micro USB ports. Unfortunately the manufacture of the device has not made it clear if the hardware comes pre-loaded with Android 4.4 or Windows 8.1, but it unlikely to be sporting a Windows 8.1 license for the $99 price tag.

Nexus 9 Keyboard Folio Case Available At Google Play Store for $129


Last month, Google released the bigger and better Nexus 9 tablet, which is not as big as a laptop, but thanks to the Keyboard Folio case, users can boost their productivity while performing a variety of tasks.
Google Nexus 9 went on sale earlier this month, but the keyboard folio case was  no where to be found. If you want to get the Nexus 9 Keyboard Folio case, you be glad to know it’s available at the Google Play Store for $129.

It may not be as cheap as you would have imagined, but the case offers users to work on the tablet in a number of angles, and incorporates a keyboard to help users take care of all the typing tasks.  As for the Nexus 9, it features a 8.9-inch display sporting a resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels, a Tegra K1 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage. Other features includes an 8MP camera for photos and video, 6,700 mAh battery and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop as its operating system.
