Olloclip 3-in-1 iPhone Lens Adapter

More Photos Of The New BlackBerry 10 L-Series

We have already seen a couple of leaked photos of the new BlackBerry 10 L-Series smartphone, and now some more have appeared online which are better quality than the previous ones and give us a good look at the design of the BlackBerry 10 L-Series or the BlackBerry London.
The photos have revealed that the BlackBerry 10 L-Series will feature NFC, and it will come with a microSIM card slot and a microSD card slot, have a look at the photos below.

RIM will officially launch BlackBerry 10 on the 3oth of January 2013, and we are expecting the BlackBerry 10 L-Series as well as a QWERTY BlackBerry 10 handset to be announced at the same time.


Microsoft Increasing Surface Tablet Production

Microsoft has announced that they are increasing the production of their Windows RT Surface tablet, and that they are also expanding sales of the device to other retailers

“The public reaction to Surface has been exciting to see. We’ve increased production and are expanding the ways in which customers can interact with, experience and purchase Surface,” said Panos Panay, general manager, Microsoft Surface.
As early as mid-December, consumers will be able to go to retail stores in the United States and Australia to purchase a Surface with Windows RT. Additional availability will be added in a number of countries in the coming months.
“Our plan has been to expand the retail presence for Surface after the first of the year. Based on interest from retailers, we are giving them the option to carry Surface with Windows RT even earlier,” said Steve Schueler, corporate vice president, Microsoft Retail Sales and Marketing.
It will be interesting to see if Microsoft’s expansion of the surface to new retail partners is able to make the device more popular, and we are looking forward to finding out just how many of the tablet Microsoft has sold by the end of the year.

The Oppo Find 5 officially launches

If you have your sights set on the Oppo Find 5 handset, the device has been officially launched in China. It features a 5” 1080p Full HD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which sadly cannot be expanded via microSD.

 The phone will also come with a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 1.9MP front-facing camera, and Dirac HD audio technology which can normally be found in high-end vehicles like BMW, Bentley, Rolls Royce etc.
The Oppo Find 5 was announced for a US release awhile back. It was launched in China for around $480 and it should be making its way to other markets around the world like the US next month for $499. Great news!

Samsung Galaxy Camera 4G LTE Coming To Verizon December 13th

Earlier in the week we heard that Verizon Wireless would start offering Samsung’s new Galaxy Camera on their network in the US, and now Verizon Wireless has officially announced the device.
The Samsung Galaxy Camera will be available on Verizon Wireless from tomorrow the 13th of December, and the device will retail for $549, and it comes with 4G LTE as opposed to 3G on the international model of the Galaxy Camera.


The Samsung Galaxy Camera is powered a a quad core 1.4GHZ processor and comes with a 16 megapixel sensor and a 4.8 inch touchscreen display, plus a pop up Xenon Flash and 21x optical zoom.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Camera include 8GB of built in storage, a microSD card slot and 50GB of Dropbox storage for two years, it also comes with a WiFi and 4G LTE data connection, plus a HDMI port and a microUSB port.

Acer Launches C710-2605 Chromebook

Acer has launched a new version of their Chromebook, the Acer C710-2605 which features improved specifications over the previous model, and it comes with Google Chrome OS and features an 11.6 inch display.
The 11.6 inch display comes with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and the device is powered by a 1.1Ghz Intel Celeron 847 processor and comes with 2GB of RAM and 500 GB of built in storage.


Other specifications on the Acer C710-2605 Chromebook include a 5,000 mAh battery, HDMI, VGA, Ethernet and three USB ports, the device also comes with 100GB of free Google Drive storage for two years.

YotaPhone Two Faced Phone Has LCD And E-Paper Screens

Breaking away from the tradition one screen smartphones currently on the market, Yota Devices, a company part of the same business that owns Russian LTE carrier Yota Mobile.
Has this week unveiled a new style of smartphone equipped with an LCD screen on one side and an E-Paper screen on the other, in the form of the new YotaPhone smartphone.

Vladislav Martynov, CEO of Yota Devices, explained to TechCrunch in an interview that prototypes of the new YotaPhone smartphone, have been sent out for testing in Europe, Asia and North America.
The extra E-Paper screen has been added to the smartphone to help preserve better life, enabling users to move information to the E-Paper screen, such as tickets, which can be held there while the colour screen can be used for other services. The more eye-friendly black and white screen, also, can be used for extended reading, conserving battery power when required.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
