Hydrobee Transforms Flowing Water Into Juice For Your Devices

Trekkers and campers that are looking to keep their devices juiced up while away from the grid, might be interested in a unique and innovative gadget called the Hydrobee.
The Hydrobee has been designed to transform the power of running water into power for your mobile devices whilst away from the grid and is the brain child of inventor Burt Hamner. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the Hydrobee project and see it in action.

“Hydrobee has two major parts that make it the most versatile hydropower technology ever. The Turbine Battery makes power and stores it for USB output, and can charge directly from a faucet or hose. The Stream Body holds the Battery so it can be charged by water flowing around it. But since anything that spins the turbines will generate electricity, there are more than 2 ways to power up a “can of juice!”"

The Hydrobee project is currently over on the Kickstarter website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production. So if you think Hydrobee is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help Hydrobee become a reality.

Mercedes Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo Poses For The Camera

This is not a production car, but a concept car that was designed for the gamer, and the photos we showed you the other day were renders of what the car will look like, Mercedes has built one of these cars, and we now have some actual photos of it.

“To mark the 15th birthday of the popular Gran Turismo® series this year, Kazunori Yamauchi, Producer of Gran Turismo series and President of Polyphony Digital Inc., called upon the world’s leading automotive manufacturers and design studios to look forward into the future. Using the theme “Vision Gran Turismo”, these creative teams were to develop concept models which give a unique insight into the further development of the automobile.”

The Mercedes Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo is a 1:1 life size model of the car that will feature in Gran Turismo 6, unfortunately Mercedes will not be putting this amazing looking car into production.
You can see lots more photos of the AMG Vision Gran Turismo over at NotCot at the link below.
