Nokia Confirms The PureView 808 Was Their Last Symbian Smartphone

Nokia announced their PureView 808 smartphone back in February of last year, the handset came with Symbian Belle, and it was thought to be the last Symbian smartphone from Nokia.
Nokia has now officially confirmed that the PureView 808 was indeed their last Symbian handset, you can see the statement from Nokia below.


“The Nokia 808 PureView, a device which showcases our imaging capabilities and which came to market in mid-2012, was the last Symbian device from Nokia.”
Even though this is their last Symbian handset, Nokia managed to sell a total of 2.2 million Symbian devices in their last financial quarter, which is about half the amount of Windows Phone handsets they sold.

ZTE N880E With Android Jelly Bean Launched In China

ZTE has announced that one of their Android smartphones, the ZTE N880E will now come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, the device was originally launched back in May.
As well as Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, the ZTE N880E features a 4 inch WVGA touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, and the device is powered by a single core Qualcomm 1GHz processor.


“ZTE has an excellent relationship with Google and this, combined with our extensive R&D capabilities and our experience of customising devices for partners around the world, means we are able to bring new technologies to market very quickly,” said Mr. Kan Yulun,Vice President and CTO of the Handset Division, ZTE.“Our aim is to provide the best quality customer experience for the best value, and the N880E is a great example of this.”
Other specifications on the handset include 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built in storage, there is also a microSD card slot an a 1,650 mAh battery, plus a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and WiFi.

Fujifilm FinePix F800 EXR Compact Camera Announced

Fujifilm has announced its latest compact camera, the FinePix F800 EXR, and it features a 16 megapixel EXR-CMOS sensor with a 25-500mm zoom and a ISO range up to 12,800.
The Fujifilm FinePix F800 EXR features 3 inch 460k dot LCD display and it also feature USB, HDMI out and it is capable of recording full high definition video in 1080p.

Other specifications on the FinePix F800 EXR include wireless transfer if your photos between the camera and your iOS or Android device, and it comes with some apps for Apple’s iOS and Google’s android.
The Fujifilm FinePix F800 EXR will go on sale in August and will retail for $349.95.
