Porsche Design BlackBerry P9883

Yesterday the new Porsche Design BlackBerry P9883 briefly appeared on the BlackBerry website, the handset is now official, and we have all the details on this new BlackBerry smartphone.
The Porsche Design BlackBerry P9883 comes with a 3.1 inch display that has a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels, the handset also comes with a QWERTY keyboard, and it features BlackBerry 10 OS.

The handset is powered by a dual core MSM8960 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, and it features 2GB of RAM and 64GB of built in storage.
If you need additional storage, the Porsche Design BlackBerry P9883 features a microSD card slot which can take up to 128GB cards, there is also a USB 2.0 port and a micro HDMI port.
The Porsche Design BlackBerry P9883 features a 2100 mAh battery, and front and rear facing cameras. The front camera is a 2 megapixel fixed focus camera with 3x digital zoom that can record HD video in 720p.
The rear came is an 8 megapixel camera with auto focus, a flash and a 5 element F2.2 lens, the rear camera can record full high definition video in 1080p.


Polaroid Socialmatic Camera Coming

Back in January, we first talked about the Polaroid Socialmatic digital camera. Polaroid has now announced that the camera will hit stores in time for holiday shopping this year. The camera s designed and manufactured by Socialmatic LLC and uses the Polaroid name under license. The camera is an instant camera like those Polaroid made famous in the 80’s, but for the digital generation.
The Socialmatic has a 14MP front camera and a 2MP rear camera sensor. The front camera has LED flash and on the back of the camera is a 4.5-inch LCD. The big feature of the camera is an integrated printer that allows users to instantly print 2×3″ photos right from the camera. Photos taken with the camera can be stored to 4GB of internal storage or microSD cards.

The Android operating system is used for the camera menus. WiFi and Bluetooth are integrated to allow sharing of images on the go. The integrated printer uses ZINK zero ink technology and photos print in under a minute. The photos can also be printed with a QR code to allow tracking of images. Pricing for the camera is unknown at this time.

iPhone 6 And iPhone 6 Plus Launch Tomorrow

Apple’s newest smartphones, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will go on sale tomorrow the 19th of September, and this is expected to be Apple’s biggest smartphone launch today.

The company has already reported record pre-orders of the new iPhone 6 handsets, they managed to sell 4 million units in the first 24hours, and they are expected to sell more iPhone than last year, in the opening weekend.

The iPhone 6 comes with a 4.7 inch display that has a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels, the iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5 inch display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Both handsets share similar specifications, apart from the rear camera, both versions have an 8 megapixel camera, but the iPhone 6 Plus model comes with Optical Image Stabilization.

Processing in the new iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 8 handsets comes in the form of a 64-bit Apple A8 processor, there is also an Apple M8 motion coprocessor, and both devices come with a built in fingerprint sensor, plus a front facing FaceTime HD camera.

The new iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6 come with the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS, Apple iOS 8 which was released yesterday, prices for the iPhone 6 start at $199 on contract and prices for the iPhone 6 Plus start at $299 on contract.
