Panasonic Lumix GM1 Micro Four Thirds Camera Officially Launches

Following on from yesterday’s leaked images that revealed a first look at the new Panasonic Lumix GM1 micro four thirds camera. Panasonic has today officially launched the new Lumix GM1 camera into their range of GM Series cameras. The new Panasonic Lumix GM1 features a 16-megapixel sensor, 1 / 16,000 shutter speed and the ability to capture 1080p video recording to name just a few.


On its rear the Panasonic Lumix GM1 is fitted with a 3-inch tilting LCD display together with intelligent auto modes, offering users point-and-shoot ease-of-use that doesn’t compromise on image quality, says Panasonic.
Another feature of the new Panasonic Lumix GM1 camera is Wi-Fi connectivity, that allows the camera to easily connect to smartphones and tablets allow you to post images and video online as soon as you have captured them.
To enhance a range of cameras Panasonic has also created the Panasonic Image application that is available for iOS devices and uses the wireless connectivity to provide a Remote Shooting feature that allows you to control the camera shutter from your smartphone or tablet.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always. Hopefully Panasonic will announce details of both the price and worldwide availability within the next couple of days.


Nikon D5300 Launches For $800 With Wi-Fi, GPS And More

Today Nikon has announced the launched of their new Nikon D5300 DX-format digital SLR camera which is equipped with a DX-format CMOS image sensor that offers 24.2-million pixels together with the new EXPEED 4 image-processing engine.


The Nikon 5300 is the latest entry level camera from Nikon and will be arriving in stores later this month priced at around $800 for the body-only or available with as an 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6 kit for $1,400.
The Nikon 5300 is Nikon’s first SLR camera to be equipped with built-in Wi-Fi allowing you to easily transfer images and video to desktop computers, smartphones or tablets when required. As well as a new remote shooting function that allows the users to see a live picture on the screen of their smartphone or tablet.
As well as built in Wi-Fi the Nikon 5300 is also equipped with a GPS sensor that can record location data such as longitude, latitude, altitude with the images you capture. On the rear of the camera is a 3.2-inch, approximately 1037k-dot LCD display that can be tilted to 180 degrees and full-HD recording can be selected from 24p, 25p, 30p, 50p, and 60p.


Pyle Hi-Speed HD Sports Action Camera Unveiled For $100

Action camera manufacture Pyle have taken the wraps off a new addition to their range of devices, with the launch of the new Pyle Hi-Speed HD Sports action camera which will soon be available to purchase for $100.
The new Pyle Hi-Speed HD camera is equipped with a 12 megapixel sensor and is fitted with a 2.4 inch touchscreen display on the rear for navigating the menus and viewing your footage whilst out and about.


The Pyle Hi-Speed HD camera has been designed to capture 1080P and/or 720p offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and it even features a 4X Zoom. An included microSD card slot allows you to have up to 32GB of storage at any time and the camera can be controlled via the provided wireless remote unit.
The included rechargeable battery provides up to 2 hours of recording time and the camera features offer users a 10 second picture timer delay with the option to take either 12, 10, 8 or 5 megapixel still photographs.
The Pyle Hi-Speed HD camera measures 2.6” (W) x 1.9” (H) x 1.3” (D) and comes supplied with a USB cable, car charger, splash-proof case, wireless remote and mounting clips for a price of $99.99. Sony SmartWatch 2 Launched In Japan

Sony has announced the launch of its new Sony SmartWatch 2 in Japan, the watch will retail for 14,800 yen, which works out at around $150 at the current exchange rate.
The Sony SmartWatch 2 will be available for the Sony Store in Japan on the 25th of October, Sony also announced a new smart imaging stand for their smartphones.

 The device is designed to be both dust and water proof and conforms to the IPx5 and IPX7 standards, it features a 1.6 inch display that has a resolution of 220 x 176 pixels.


The SmartWatch 2 connects to your Xperia handset via NFC, it will also work with other compatible Android devices, and it can be used to read and send texts, check your email, calls and more. You can also answer calls on your smartphone using the SmartWatch 2, it will also display a lit of missed calls.
Sony also announced their new Smart Imaging Stand, which will work with their Xperia range of smartphones, this will retail for 11,800 yen, which is about $120 at the current exchange rate.
