Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Launched Today

Samsung has announced that their new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 smartphone goes on sale in a number of countries today, which includes the U.S., the UK, Canada, China, Germany, France, Malaysia, South Africa, India and Italy.

The company has also said that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be launching in more countries soon, although they did not give a list of other countries where the handset is headed.

The handset comes with some impressive specifications, which include a 5.7 inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The Galaxy Note 4 is powered by the latest high end mobile processor from Qualcomm, the quad core 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, the device also comes with an Adreno 420 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes with some high end cameras, on the back of the handset there is a 16 megapixel camera with a range of advanced features, on the front of the device there is a 3.7 megapixel camera.

The new Note 4 comes with two storage options 32gB or 64GB and the device comes with Samsung’s S-Pen, plus Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

Audiovox Android Tablet Doubles As In-Car Entertainment System

Audiovox has this week unveiled a new Android tablet they have created that has been designed to provide standard tablet functions you would expect that also double up as a Vehicle Entertainment System and media centre using an additional smart dock device.
The Audiovox Android tablet is equipped with an 8 inch display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, supported by 1GB of DDR3 RAM and equipped with 8 GB of internal storage that can be expanded further using additional microSD cards.

The Audiovox Vehicle Entertainment System incorporates a foldout support arm on the back of the tablet which can be used as either a kickstand or inserted into the additional smart dock adapter that can be connected to the headrests of your car seats. Audiovox explains :
“The T852SBK has Bluetooth connectivity, lets users plug in their favorite hi-definition devices and micro SD memory cards through a HDMI output and microSD card slot. The Audiovox tablet and vehicle entertainment system is now available to purchase for $300 and comes equipped with a built-in 100 channel FM transmitter, as well as running Google’s older Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system. Together with 0.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 2 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs.

Archos VR Glasses For Smartphones Launching In November

Earlier this month it was rumoured that Archos may have been developing their very own smartphone virtual reality glasses. Today Archos have confirmed those rumours and unveiled their new Archos VR Glasses that will be launching later this year during November with prices starting at just $29.99.
The new Archos VR Glasses have been designed to work with high definition smartphones equipped with a 5 inch screen together with a quad core processor or similar together with motion sensors such as an accelerometer and gyroscope.

Archos is currently in the process of developing a new Archos Video Player update, that will enable users to enjoy 3D videos in a stereoscopic mode using their smartphones, by creating the illusion of being in a 3D movie theatre, says Archos. Loïc Poirier, CEO of Archos explained in this weeks press release :
