Google Glass 2 Gets Unboxed

Google recently released the second generation of their wearable gadget, Google Glass 2, which features a new design and also a range of new features.


Now we have a Google Glass 2 unboxing video from the guys over at Phandroid which gives us a good look at the new, updated Google Glass.

The new Google Glass 2 was given to owners of the original device, who were allowed to swap their existing Google Glass device for the new updated version for free.
The Google Glass 2 is currently only available to developers, and Google are expected to release a consumer version of Google Glass some time in 2014, although this has yet to be confirmed.

Rayovac to Show Off New Battery Chargers For Gadgets at CES 2014

Rayovac has announced that it will be rolling out new portable charging solutions for gadgets at CES 2014. There will be multiple products in the line including a 7 Hour Power Recharge, Phone Boost 800, Power Packs, and a Car and Wall USB Power Charger. The 7 Hour Power Recharge mobile device charger is able to fully recharge a mobile device without an outlet.

The device is powered by four AA batteries and will have a MSRP of $19.99. It can be used with any battery chemistry. The Phone Boost 800 device is a mobile charter designed to work with devices featuring micro USB, Apple 30-pin, and Apple Lightning connectors. It has an internal 800 mAh battery and is small enough to fit on a key ring.
Rayovac says that the device can give your phone a boost of 150 minutes of talk time. The Phone Boost 800 will sell for $19.99 for microUSB and Apple 30-pin with the Lightning adapter version selling for $24.99. Rayovac also has larger battery packs with 2000 mAh or 6000 mAh of power for $29.99 and $49.99 respectively. The Car and Wall USB chargers are $14.99 each with versions available to fit just about all smartphones.
