Nokia Starts Rolling Out Lumia 920 And 820 Software Update

Nokia has announced that it is starting to roll out a performance update to two of its Windows Phone smartphones, the Nokia Lumia 920 and the Nokia Lumia 820, the update will be rolled out in phases to both devices.
 
A Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 software update providing performance enhancements for the Nokia Lumia 820 and Nokia Lumia 920 has started rolling out over the air. Delivery will continue in a phased manner over the coming weeks and is expected to be complete by mid-March. You will receive a notification on your phone when the update is available for you to download.

Instagram hits 90 million monthly active users

According to the company, their monthly active users stand at 90 million. Apparently this is up ten percent from December to January. Instagram’s Kevin Systrom says that the company “continues to see very strong growth around the world.” So how active are those 90 million users? Well, Instagram says that they’re responsible for 40 million photos a day, along with 8,500 likes per second and 1,000 comments per second. Pretty impressive. 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Note coming in March?

Are you one of those users who wants a Galaxy Note, but think that 5 inches isn’t big enough? Is 10 inches too big? Well, Samsung is getting ready to release an 8-inch Galaxy Note, according to insiders.
 After all, Samsung wouldn’t want to miss out on medium sized market. Nothing has been confirmed by Samsung yet, but this new Galaxy Note is rumored to feature a 1280 by 800 SLCD display, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal storage with micro SD expansion, and support for GSM and HSPA networks. There’s also a 5MP rear-facing camera and a front-facing camera.
A 4300mAh battery pack is also expected, along with an S-Pen. It will be slimmer and slightly lighter than the Nexus 7, measuring just 7.95mm thick and weighing 330 grams.
