Razer Orbweaver Mechanical Gaming Keypad Unveiled

Razer has unveiled a new mechanical gaming keypad this week in the form of their new Razer Orbweaver, which is equipped with 20 mechanical keys and a programmable eight-way directional thumb-pad.
Razer has designed the Orbweaver mechanical gaming keypad to only require50g of pressure to activate a key press, allowing you to execute multiple key commands as fast as possible.

The Razer Orbweaver is fitted with adjustable hand, thumb, and palm-rest modules, Razer explains:
“The Razer Orbweaver was designed with adjustable, hand, thumb and palm-rest modules to let you customize the most comfortable experience with the keypad during marathon gaming sessions. Slide either part back or forth so that it sits under your thumb or cradles your palm perfectly, reducing hand fatigue, and optimizing ergonomic access to your controls.”
The new Razer Orbweaver will start shipping later this month for $130, for more information jump over to the Razer product page.

BlackBerry Z10 With Verizon Branding Poses For The Camera

RIM will launch their new BlackBerry 10 OS along with two new BlackBerry 10 handsets on the 30th of January, we have already seen a number of photos of the new BlackBerry Z10.
Now we have a photo of the BlackBerry Z10 with Verizon branding, which you can see below, there are two BlackBerry Z10 models in the photo, as well as an iPhone 4S.

 One of the models in the photo is for Verizon Wireless, as you can see from the branding, the over version is apparently the AT&T version of the Z10, as soon as we get some more details on when the BlackBerry Z10 will be available with both Verizon and AT&T we will let you guys know.

Tablet For Kids Announced By Polaroid

Polaroid have this week taken the wraps off a new tablet for kids which they have developed and equipped with a 7 inch capacitive multi-touch display sporting a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
The Polaroid PTAB750 tablet for kids is powered by a 1GHz processor, supported by 512MB of RAM and includes 8GB of internal memory, with an SD card slot available to extended the memory if required.

 The design of the Polaroid PTAB750 tablet for kids has been tweaked to suit children’s needs and is fitted with integrated side and rear rubber bumpers together with protection from liquid spills.
Other features include a  2-megapixel camera, wireless connectivity and the tablet for kids comes pre-loaded with top rated learning Apps and Dr. Seuss & Smithsonian interactive books, as well as the Nook bookstore and reader, and custom web browser with parental controls allowing you to program a safe environment for your children to use the tablet. Polaroid explains:
“The tablet is simple for parents to setup, includes a safe web browser for kids developed by the world-leading browser company Maxthon and parental controls to program a safe environment for children, yet still provide a real tablet experience. Other features includes a music studio that offers many fun options to create audio and music, super fun games for boys and girls, an animated screensaver with lullabies programmed to help children fall asleep while the tablet is charging in its dock and a drawing app to provide children with hours of creative fun and “one-touch” wallpaper changing. ROCCAT Ryos Gaming Keyboard With Unique Individual Key Illumination Introduced

Ahead of CES 2013 next week which runs from Jan 8th-11th 2013, ROCCAT has unveiled their latest mechanical gaming keyboard, in the form of the ROCCAT Ryos.
The Ryos is the first mechanical keyboard created by ROCCAT and features a unique illumination system that allows users to illuminate individual keys when required

 The ROCCAT Ryos mechanical keyboard is powered by two 32-bit ARM cortex processors, and the keyboard has been designed to provide visual key functions, macros and even health or mana bars using the new illumination technology.
“ROCCAT has succeeded in defining a new standard for mechanical gaming keyboards. The Ryos is the first gaming keyboard ever that features per-key lighting and up to two 32-bit ARM cortex processors.  2MB internal Flash storage make the Ryos ultra responsive. The ROCCAT Ryos Keyboard Series comes with up to four different CHERRY MX key switches (black, brown, red, blue).”
The ROCCAT Ryos gaming keyboard is planned to ship in the first quarter of this year, but unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet.
