Pantech Vega No 6 Gets Official

We have been hearing about the new Pantech Vega No. 6 Android smartphone over the last week, the device is now official and it will come with a 5.9 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The Pantech Vega N0 6 will come with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a quad core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5GHz, it also features 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage.

There is also a microSD card slot for additional storage, plus it will feature a 13 megapixel rear camera for photos and video and a front facing 2 megapixel camera for video chat.
Other specifications on the Pantech Vega No 6 include WiFi, Bluetooth and  it will launch in South Korea next month with all of the major South Korean carriers, and will retail for KRW 849,000 which is about $780 SIM free.

Pentax Evangelion Q10 Limited Editions Announced

Pentax has this week announced a range of limited edition Pentax Evangelion Q10 cameras that will shortly be launching in Japan, sporting colourful casings
The new limited edition of 1,500 units only wearing the colour of Evangelion’s heroines with Lei and Asuka as well as the EVA-01, will be selling for around  59,800 Yen, and will be arriving in stores during April 2013.

To recap the Pentax Q10 first launched back  in 2011 is equipped with a 12.4 megapixels CMOS sensor, Dust Removal DRII image sensor cleaning function using ultrasonic vibrations, ISO 100 to 6400 (1/3 EV steps), up to ISO1600 when times are set to 2 sec. or slower, Image Stabilizer Sensor shift Shake Reduction, and 3 inch LCD display to name a few of its features.Unfortunately no information on worldwide availability has been released.


Quad Core Samsung Galaxy Premier Headed To South Korea

Samsung recently announced their new Galaxy Premier smartphone, which comes with a dual core processor, but now it would appear that a quad core version of the device is headed to South Korea.
Apart from the quad core 1.4Ghz Exynos 4412 processor, the Samsung Galaxy Premier will feature the same specifications as before, which include a 4.65 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
  Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Premier, include 1GB of RAM, plus Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and it also features an 8 megapixel rear camera for photos and video and a front facing 1.9 megapixel camera for video chat.

Samsung Music Hub is Coming to Hardware from Other Manufacturers

Samsung has announced that it has plans to make its cloud-based Music Hub available on hardware that it didn’t produce. At the same time, Samsung is announcing that it will be rolling out the Music Hub to all of its devices as well. The move will have Samsung competing directly against other cloud-based music services such as Spotify.


Samsung’s music service allows the user to upload their own music library and combines that with a streaming service similar to other offerings are you market. Currently, the Music Hub is only available on the Galaxy S III and Note II. Samsung plans for the music service come to other devices it makes such as phones, tablets, and smart TVs among other items.
Samsung isn’t offering a specific timeframe for the service to expand its reach. The company says that the Music Hub is currently available in six countries and when it launches in other locations will depend on deals with local music labels.
