The Red Fort or Lal Qila is 17^th century fort constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the walled city of Delhi, India. The Red Fort was the residence of Mughal Emperors. The fort lies along the Yamuna River, which fed the moats that surround most of the wall.
