LG’s Google TVs To Get Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Update

Yesterday Google announced that they would be updating their Google TV platform to Android 4.2.2, they also announced that they would make it much easier for manufacturers to update their Google TV devices to the latest version of Android.
Now LG has announced that it will be bringing the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update to its Google TV devices, and LG has said that the updates will be rolled out as an over the air update to their existing LG Google TVs in the third quarter.

 “LG’s Google TV with the latest Jelly Bean operating system and NDK support will deliver an enhanced user experience and access to more great apps,” said Havis Kwon, president and CEO of the LG Home Entertainment Company. “In addition to enabling users to enjoy advanced Android apps, the latest OS will also provide developers with new opportunities in the Smart TV arena.”

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S Now Available To Order From $799

After being first announced way back in January of this year Lenovo has this week made their new IdeaPad Yoga 11S hybrid tablet/notebook available to purchase within the US.
The IdeaPad Yoga 11S builds on the technology used in the IdeaPad Yoga 13, but is now equipped with a smaller 11.6-inch display offering a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

The IdeaPad Yoga 11S is powered by a choice of either i3,i5 or i7 Intel processors and comes with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB solid state disk (SSD) as standard.
If you are looking for a little more RAM and storage these can be maxed out at 8GB and 256GB SSD, together with a upgraded display offering a higher resolution of 1600 x 900.

Even thought the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S is available to purchase, Lenovo is listing a shipping time of over 4 weeks, so its more like a pre-order than a purchase. The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S will also be available in Best Buy stores from June 23rd starting at $799.99
