Sony SmartWatch 2 Launched In Japan
Sony has announced the launch of its new Sony SmartWatch 2 in Japan, the watch will retail for 14,800 yen, which works out at around $150 at the current exchange rate.
The Sony SmartWatch 2 will be available for the Sony Store in Japan on the 25th of October, Sony also announced a new smart imaging stand for their smartphones.
The device is designed to be both dust and water proof and conforms to the IPx5 and IPX7 standards, it features a 1.6 inch display that has a resolution of 220 x 176 pixels.
The SmartWatch 2 connects to your Xperia handset via NFC, it will also work with other compatible Android devices, and it can be used to read and send texts, check your email, calls and more. You can also answer calls on your smartphone using the SmartWatch 2, it will also display a lit of missed calls.
