Panasonic Lumix GM1 Micro Four Thirds Camera Officially Launches
Following on from yesterday’s leaked images that revealed a first look at the new Panasonic Lumix GM1
micro four thirds camera. Panasonic has today officially launched the
new Lumix GM1 camera into their range of GM Series cameras. The new
Panasonic Lumix GM1 features a 16-megapixel sensor, 1 / 16,000 shutter
speed and the ability to capture 1080p video recording to name just a
few.
On its rear the Panasonic Lumix GM1 is fitted with a 3-inch tilting LCD display together with intelligent auto modes, offering users point-and-shoot ease-of-use that doesn’t compromise on image quality, says Panasonic.
Another feature of the new Panasonic Lumix GM1 camera is Wi-Fi connectivity, that allows the camera to easily connect to smartphones and tablets allow you to post images and video online as soon as you have captured them.
To enhance a range of cameras Panasonic has also created the Panasonic Image application that is available for iOS devices and uses the wireless connectivity to provide a Remote Shooting feature that allows you to control the camera shutter from your smartphone or tablet.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always. Hopefully Panasonic will announce details of both the price and worldwide availability within the next couple of days.
