Sony QX10 And QX100 Camera Lenses Upgraded With 1080p Video And Higher ISO
Sony has this week announced that it has upgraded its new and unique smartphone and tablet lenses in the of the Sony QX10 and QX100 via a firmware update that brings with it a few tasty new features.
The latest firmware for the Sony QX10 and QX100 lenses adds 1080p video changing the movie recording size from MP4 1440 x 1080(30p) to MP4 1920 x 1080(30p). Sony has also enhanced the Shutter Speed Priority Shooting mode on the Sony DSC-QX100 model.
Sony has increased the ISO range for both lenses, the QX10 will now have an expanded ISO range from a maximum of ISO 1600 to ISO 3200, while the QX100 receives more enhancement increasing its ISO sensitivity from ISO 3200 to a maximum ISO 12800. Providing better results in low light conditions once you have upgraded.

Sony also this week announced that they will be releasing camera accessories available to owners of Sony tablets. Launching a tablet accessory pictured below, called the SPA-TA1 tablet attachment, and will allow you to add either a QX10 or QX100 to the camera on your Sony tablet.
