Kanex has this week added a new addition to their range of adapters,
in the form of the newly launched Kanex DualRole, which has been
designed for users who require additional USB 3.0 ports. But also offers
newer Macbook system the chance to use a Gigabit Ethernet connection.
The Kanex DualRole lets you connect and expand your USB ports and supports both Full-duplex with flow control and Half-duplex with backpressure operation.
The new Kanex DualRole adapter is USB bus powered, but can also be used with a power adapter to provide even more power to the USB 3.0 ports and attached devices when required.
