Samsung Expects To Ship 500 Million Phones In 2013
If you haven’t been paying attention, Samsung is now the largest phone
manufacturer in the world, having sold more than 420 million handsets.
And they aren’t about to slow down. The Korean Times has reported that
Samsung plans to increase that figure by more than 20 percent.
They intend to ship 510 million phones in 2013. They have to if they want to continue to compete with Apple. There is the Galaxy range of Android-powered smartphones, as well as the growing range of Windows Phone 8 handsets.
If they can manage to ship what they say, it will be another good year for the company.
