Sky-high Architecture: 606 Meter Wuhan Greenland Center Project
Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architects have designed this massive, 606 Meter Wuhan Greenland Center project to be built in a Chinese city of Wuhan.
The tower’s planned height is 1,988 feet (606 meters), 119 floors. It
is planned to house offices, luxurious apartments, a five star hotel and
a private club in the penthouse with breathtaking views. The project is
to be realized during five year period and is probably going to be the
world’s fourth tallest building.
Wuhan Greenland Center has a lance-like shape that ends with a framed roof. Its body features three corners that are planned to be made of glass but the tower will also be decorated with a concrete curtain framed in steel. Among other features the Wuhan Greenland Center tower is going to have energy and water recovery systems, lighting system that uses low power bulbs and control system that switches lights off during the daylight.
The interior design will coordinate with the tower appearance, which means there will be soft lines and color schemes. The tower overlooks the city and definitely stands out on the landscape. How do you find this Wuhan Greenland Center tower?
