Sony Xperia Z3 Specifications Leaked

We’ve seen a handful of rumors about the alleged Sony Xperia Z3 in the past few days. The alleged handset turned up at the FCC.
Now we have some more details about the Sony Xperia Z3. Recently, the notorious leaker @evleaks released some specifications of the upcoming Sony Xperia Z3 with a model number D6653.

According to @evleaks, the alleged handset will come with a 5.15 inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, with a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at 2.4Ghz with 3GB of RAM on board. The same report mentions it will come with a 16GB of RAM with a microSD card slot for expansion, as well as a 20.7MP rear camera for photos and videos, as well as a 2MP front-facing camera.
On the software side, the alleged handset is said to come with Android 4.4 KitKat as its operating system. There’s no confirmation, but if these are the real specifications, it may turn out to be a big disappointment for Xperia fans out there. It’s almost the same as the Xperia Z2, and there’s no QHD display, which is becoming normal for most flagships these days. LG G3 rocks a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, and Samsung also launched the QHD version of their Samsung Galaxy S5.
