BlackBerry announces Z3 Hong Kong launch

The BlackBerry Z3 had a pretty good launch, even though the company has a long way to go to get back on top. And now we have word that it will also launch in the Middle East as well as in Malaysia later in the month. But wait, there is at least one more country in Asia getting the BlackBerry Z3. That would be Hong Kong. This should help them sell more units for sure. It looks like they have all of the key markets covered, so there is no reason it shouldn’t sell well in Asia. This BlackBerry 10-powered smartphone will be available to the folks in Hong Kong starting July 8th and you can get it via carrier 3 Hong Kong, as well as from Broadway, Fortress, Wilson, Suning, Chung Yuen, Nuance Watson and CMK.

Hong Kong will be a key market for BlackBerry, so it will be interesting to see how the BlackBerry 10 operating system version 10.2.1 goes over with customers in Hong Kong. Although this device is not high end, it still offers a lot for your money. We will have to wait and see just how well it fares in these areas, but it should do well.
