Alcatel One Touch Snap Smartphones Unveiled At MWC

As well as unveiling their Alcatel One Touch Idol X smartphone at this years Mobile World Congress (MWC) exhibition, Alcatel has also been showcasing their new range of Alcatel One Touch Snap smartphones.
The Alcatel One Touch Snap range consist of a Alcatel One Touch Snap and Alcatel One Touch Snap LTE smartphone. The pair of devices support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4 and quadband GSM (850/900/1800/1900). However there are a number of differences between the two devices.







The Alcatel One Touch Snap smartphone is fitted with 4.5” display with qHD resolution, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs Google’s latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, with 4GB of storage, and an 8 megapixel camera on he rear and a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front.
The Alcatel One Touch Snap LTE smartphone runs Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and is equipped with a 4.65” larger but lower resolution FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display, with a 2 megapixel camera and 2,200 mAh battery, and is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon CPU
The Alcatel One Touch Snap and Snap LTE are expected to start shipping in April and July 2013, respectively, but unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Alcatel.
