Dell Inspiron Ivy Bridge 15R, 17R Laptops Launch
Dell has this week added a couple of new additions to its range, with
the launch of the new Dell Inspiron 15R and 17R series of laptops. The
new laptops designed as family computers, were first revealed a last
month, and have now been launched equipped with Intel’s latest Ivy
Bridge processors.
The Dell Inspiron models feature either a 15 or 17 inch display and include upgrade options for a 3D 1080p display, the installation of a powerful quad-core Ivy Bridge i7 processor. Together with the ability to add a Blu-ray drive, Nvidia GeForce GT 650M discrete graphics, and up to 8GB of RAM if desired.
The starting price for the Dell Inspiron 15R is $550 which provides the older Intel Sandy Bridge Core i3 processor, 6GB of RAM, and a 500GB hard drive, the 17 inch Dell Inspiron 17R version with similar basic specifications starts at $600.
