Modern and Contemporary Architecture Photography – The Power of Geometry
Modern architecture is a term applied to an
overarching movement and period in architectural history during the 20th
century. Modern architecture began at the turn of the 20th century
with efforts to reconcile the principles underlying architectural design
with rapid technological advancement and the modernization of society.
The term contemporary architecture is also applied to a range of styles of recently built structures and space which are optimized for current use. Architecture photography showcases some of the power of geometry and architectural design.
In this post, we’ve gathered up some modern architecture photographs as well as contemporary architecture photographs that illustrate many of the principles of design, both functional and aesthetic.
