Jeep Cherokee

Jeep has been selling quite a few of ht new Cherokee models despite the fact that old-school Cherokee fans despise the new car. To bring more luxury to the Cherokee, Jeep has announced that it will be adding a new 2016 Cherokee Overland model. The new version of the SUV debuted at the New England International Auto Show.

Jeep says that the new model is specifically for those who want Jeep 4×4 capability with a more premium interior and features. The starting price for the Overland model is $34,495 and it will land at Dealerships this spring. The money gets buyers body color fascias, a bright front grille and chin extension, body-color door cladding and wheel flares, and 18-inch polished wheels.

Overland buyers also get a power lift gate, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross path detection. The Overland 4×4 model comes with 8.2-inches of ground clearance. It has a Jeep Active Drive II 4×4 system with a two-speed power transfer unit, low range, and a disconnecting rear axle when 4×4 isn’t needed to improve fuel economy. The 4×4 system has Selec-Terrain to let drivers choose four modes with auto, sport, snow, and sand/mud settings. A 3.2L V6 is available as an option.
