Audio-technica ATH-ANC70 Noise Cancelling Headphones Support Voice Calls

Audio-Technica has pulled the wraps off its latest set of noise cancelling headphones called the ATH-ANC70. The headphones are designed to be worn over the ear and have a built in microphone for voice calls when used with a smartphone. The microphone is located on the ear cup of the headphones to put it at a more consistent distance from the user.

 That consistent distance allows for better call quality. Audio-technica claims that the headphones active noise-cancelling tech can block 90% of ambient sound. The headphones’ have 40mm drivers and promise nice bass and overall sound. To answer calls with the headphones, the user taps the glowing logo button on the ear cup.

 The active noise cancellation tech use batteries, but when the batteries are dead the headphones do feature passive noise cancellation tech. The ear cups are padded with memory foam and promise long wear with comfort. The headphones also feature integrated volume and track controls. Audio-technica ships the headphones with adapters allowing them to work with in-flight entertainment systems and more. The headphones also come with a carry case. The headphones are available now for $199.95.
